Job Description:

A midwife is a person whose competencies, qualifications, registration and/ or licence are recognised by the local regulatory authority for registration. She functions in accordance with legislative and hospital policies and guidelines relevant to midwifery practise and assumes responsibility and accountability for her own actions and clinical decision making.

Job Requirements:

• Direct entry midwifery degree of not less than 3 years
• BLS certification
• NRP Certification preferred
• At least two (2) years of recent post-graduate midwifery experience
• Midwife – Western Educated & Trained
• Must hold current home country License as Midwife
• 3-4 year General Nursing Diploma / Degree plus Midwifery certificate or diploma of not less than 12 months
