Job Description:

The Sr. Business Intelligence & Reporting Analyst provides specialized end to end BI support, visualization / presentation, and analytics for a significant business/function and/or projects/initiative. Considered a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting. Accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of a best-in-class dashboards and/or BI capabilities and may deliver on ad-hoc projects as assigned. Responsible for independently: 1) working with non-technical business partners to understand BI needs; 2) translating business needs into data requirements; 3) validating data meets BI requirements; 4) designing and developing BI solutions (dashboards, specialized visualizations, scorecards) to support business needs; 5) delivering BI solutions and on-going maintenance/user support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works independently as the senior analyst / subject matter expert and may provide technical support to others
• Creates complex and comprehensive Business Intelligence dashboards using localized datamarts and external data sources
• Leads the requirements documentation, design, development, and implementation of operations and product reporting
• Identify and propose data presentations to meet evolving business needs; utilize various technology/ applications/ methodologies to rapidly generate impactful visualizations

Job Requirements:

• Expected to have a knowledge of broader enterprise BI platforms (Tableau Desktop/Tableau Server) and data sources (MS SQL, Oracle, Azure) and ability to integrate data across the enterprise
• Expected to learn/know business area of support and be a subject matter expert
• Uses various technology/applications/methodologies to rapidly generate impactful interactive visualization
• Expected to present to senior management or executives

Qualification & Experience:

• Strongly prefer experience with banking (operations, commercial banking, consumer banking)
• Graphic design experience in the context of creating professional dashboards/visualizations
• Experienced professional role providing specialized data visualizations to support business needs
