Whirlpool Employment – Material Management Analyst

Job Description:

Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for anAnalyst, Material Management. This position is located at our Findlay, OH site. The purpose of this role is to support the financial accuracy of our plant by supporting our inventory accuracy processes including overseeing cycle counting and external demand signal to our suppliers. This role will also be key in providing financial outlook and projections, as well as detailed problem-solving and data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• This role participates and/or leads continuous improvement projects related to improving material management.
• This role is also responsible for processes related to Inventory Accuracy, Bill of Materials (BOM) Accuracy, Excess/Obsolescence Management, Master Data Accuracy, and Central Team Support.
• Support external audit requests for documentation and process overview.
• Collaborate with material planning and material operations to troubleshoot emerging issues.
• Supervision- coaching and developing team to drive great results in safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Developing and preparing reports and analysis for management/corporate.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years of people leadership experience
• Experience working with lean concepts. WCM methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and excellent attention to detail
• Experience using SAP, and Google Tools (Google: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Drawings).
• Proficient at developing and using standardized work.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Engineering
• 1+ years of experience with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Engineering
